Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Bridge Design Engineer to join our team at AECOM. As a key member of our transportation infrastructure group, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality bridge design projects for both private and public sector clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver bridge projects from planning to detailed design stages for steel, concrete, and wood structures.
  • Lead project teams and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
  • Develop and manage client relationships, and participate in business development activities.
  • Mentor and train junior staff, and contribute to the growth and development of our team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, plus 6+ years of experience in bridge design and construction.
  • Licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Professional Engineer in Manitoba.
  • Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering complex technical projects, including bridge condition assessments and load ratings.
  • Experience with resident engineering and site supervision during construction.
  • Working knowledge of structural analysis software and modeling, such as SAP and STAAD.
  • Experience with bridge design codes for highway and rail structures, including AASHTO LRFD, CHBDC, and AREMA.
