Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient requirements.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to promote functional independence in areas such as mobility, self-care, and cognitive skills.
  • Educate patients and families on strategies to manage their condition and enhance their recovery.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with current licensure in Nova Scotia.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in rehabilitation settings.
  • Strong assessment, planning, and intervention skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to providing patient-centered care.
