Environmental Safety Specialist

About the Role:
This position is responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on environmental safety and health matters to employers, employees, and the general public.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct workplace inspections to identify potential safety and health hazards
- Investigate workplace accidents and illnesses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Develop and implement health and safety plans to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulations
- Provide training and education to employers and employees on environmental safety and health best practices
- Participate in safety audits and programs to ensure ongoing compliance and improvement
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of environmental safety and health regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Work Environment:
This role is a permanent position with RMG Consulting Group Inc. and requires a 36-hour workweek.
