Job Title: Software Test Engineer

Collabera is seeking a highly skilled Software Test Engineer to join our team. As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing and validating innovative cloud solutions and delivering implementation guidance to our internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:
  1. Operate with a sense of responsibility, accountability, and ownership for delivering the solution and redirect the team, when needed, to help deliver on commitments.
  2. Partner closely with managers, architects, and solution owners to make required technical and solution-related decisions.
  3. Ensure the technical soundness of the solution designs through early reviews and write-ups.
  4. Analyze and diagnose complex networking problems and other complex solution issues and provide recommendations.
  5. Lead the creation of a comprehensive master test plan that includes a clearly defined test strategy based on solution requirements.
  6. Drive toward a successful execution and delivery phase that meets the commitments.
  7. Oversee the successful production of the Cisco Validated Design and other collateral for internal and external customer consumption.
  8. Present the technical value of solutions to internal and external attendees through training sessions, EBCs, and demos.
  9. Mentor and coach junior engineers, and provide feedback and support to help develop their overall job effectiveness and work quality.
Requirements:
  1. Ability to influence without direct authority; Strong work ethics and patience.
  2. Effective at multitasking and adapting to change.
  3. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  4. Effective and transparent communication skills - written & verbal.
  5. Team Leadership experience is a must.
Subject Matter Expertise:
  1. Networking: Cisco Data Center Networking technology and products.
  2. Storage: NAS, SAN, Fiber Channel, FCoE, FCIP, SCSI, iSCSI, RAID, EMC, and NetApp.
  3. Test software and equipment automation using Tcl/Tk, Expect, ATS/EASY, OO Programming.
