Embedded Software Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our team at QNX Software Systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software for our embedded operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain software for our embedded operating systems, including drivers and system software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop software solutions.
  • Work with hardware engineers to ensure software compatibility and functionality.
  • Develop and implement software testing and validation procedures.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Junior to Senior level of expertise in software development.
  • In-depth knowledge of C and Assembly programming languages.
  • Hands-on development experience using embedded operating systems (QNX, Linux, GreenHills, VXworks preferred).
  • Prior experience in driver development is essential.
  • Experience writing software for major processor architectures (ARM, x86, PPC, etc.).
