Our AI engine, Seismic Aura, is driving this transformation and is being integrated throughout our enablement cloud. Our primary objective is to utilize AI to enhance the productivity and efficiency of sellers and enablers in their daily tasks, ultimately leading to more successful sales outcomes.

AI is rapidly emerging as a key area of growth within Seismic. We are excited to announce the launch of our Aura Copilot AI assistant suite, alongside our Seismic for Meetings conversational and engagement intelligence suite.

As a Principal Data Scientist II – AI Architect, you will be instrumental in defining the AI strategy and spearheading the development of cutting-edge AI solutions across our platform. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, architect, build, and integrate advanced AI capabilities that enhance our product offerings and deliver exceptional value to our clients. This role presents a unique opportunity to significantly influence our company's growth and success by leading AI technology and architectural initiatives aligned with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • AI Technology and Architecture Development: Establish and guide the AI technology and architectural directions for Seismic, ensuring alignment with business objectives and product roadmaps.
  • AI Use Case Development: Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to develop AI and ML applications, evaluating trade-offs and options to deliver high-quality, high-value product solutions.
  • Integration: Oversee the integration of AI capabilities across the Seismic platform, encompassing data foundations, conversational intelligence, video analysis, content management, and discovery systems.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide robust technical leadership and guidance to data science and engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in AI and ML, conducting research and experimentation to drive innovation and maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Product Innovation: Partner with product managers, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven product enhancements and contribute to the development of the AI product roadmap.
  • Performance Optimization: Define and analyze key metrics to assess the success of AI initiatives, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, high-performance, scalable, and reliable solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 15 years of experience (or 12 years with advanced degrees) in data science and AI, with a proven history of developing AI software products and leading technical initiatives.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in AI and ML model and use case development, including hands-on experience with Python or similar languages for data analytics, Generative AI, and machine learning.
  • SaaS Knowledge: Extensive experience in SaaS application development and cloud technologies, with a comprehensive understanding of modern machine learning technologies and operational infrastructure. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure, and experience with Kubernetes-based microservice architecture.
  • Product Development: Proven experience collaborating with product management and design teams, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions that ensure successful delivery.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams to reach their full potential.
  • Strategic Mindset: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a strategic perspective and the ability to articulate a strong vision and drive it forward.
  • Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fast-paced Environment: Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, preferably within a SaaS or technology-driven organization.
