The Role:

As a Principal Data Scientist II – AI Architect, you will be instrumental in defining our AI strategy and spearheading the development of cutting-edge AI solutions across our platform. This role involves collaboration with diverse teams to design, architect, and integrate advanced AI functionalities that enhance our product offerings and deliver exceptional value to our clientele. This position presents a unique opportunity to significantly influence our company's trajectory by leading AI technology initiatives that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • AI Technology and Architecture Development: Define and steer the AI technology and architectural vision for Seismic, ensuring alignment with business objectives and product roadmaps.
  • AI Use Case Development: Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to develop AI and ML applications, evaluating trade-offs to deliver high-quality, impactful solutions.
  • Integration: Oversee the integration of AI capabilities throughout the Seismic platform, encompassing data foundations, conversational intelligence, video analysis, and content management systems.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide robust technical leadership and mentorship to data science and engineering teams, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Stay updated on the latest trends in AI and ML, conducting research to drive innovation.
  • Product Innovation: Partner with product managers, engineers, and designers to identify opportunities for AI-driven enhancements and contribute to the development of the AI product roadmap.
  • Performance Optimization: Establish and analyze key performance metrics to assess the success of AI initiatives, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: A minimum of 15 years in data science and AI, or 12 years with advanced degrees, demonstrating a successful track record in building AI software products and leading technical initiatives.
  • Technical Expertise: Profound knowledge in AI and ML model development, with hands-on experience in Python or similar languages for data analytics and machine learning.
  • SaaS Knowledge: Extensive experience in SaaS application development and cloud technologies, with a strong grasp of modern machine learning technologies and operational infrastructure.
  • Product Development: Proven ability to collaborate with product management and design teams, translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, capable of inspiring and motivating teams to achieve their best work.
  • Strategic Mindset: Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to develop a compelling vision and drive it forward.
