Role Overview:

As a Principal Data Scientist II – AI Architect, you will be instrumental in defining our AI strategy and spearheading the development of innovative AI solutions across our platform. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to design, architect, and integrate advanced AI capabilities that elevate our product offerings and deliver exceptional value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • AI Technology and Architecture Development: Lead the direction of AI technology and architecture at Seismic, ensuring alignment with business objectives and product roadmaps.
  • AI Use Case Development: Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to create AI and ML applications, evaluating trade-offs to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Integration: Oversee the integration of AI capabilities throughout the Seismic platform, including data infrastructure, conversational intelligence, and content management systems.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and technical leadership to data science and engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Product Innovation: Work with product managers and other stakeholders to identify AI-driven enhancements and contribute to the AI product roadmap.
  • Performance Optimization: Establish and analyze key metrics to evaluate the success of AI initiatives, ensuring the delivery of high-performance and reliable solutions.
Candidate Profile:
  • Experience: Over 15 years in data science and AI, with a proven track record in building AI software products and leading technical initiatives.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in AI and ML model development, with hands-on experience in Python or similar languages for data analytics.
  • SaaS Knowledge: Extensive experience in SaaS application development and cloud technologies, with familiarity in platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Product Development: Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with product management and design teams.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring teams to achieve their potential.
  • Strategic Mindset: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic approach to driving vision forward.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
