Role Overview:

As a Principal Data Scientist II – AI Architect, you will be instrumental in defining our AI strategy and spearheading the development of innovative AI solutions across our platform. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams will be vital in designing, architecting, and integrating advanced AI capabilities that enhance our offerings and deliver exceptional value to our clients. This role presents a unique opportunity to significantly influence our company's growth by leading AI technology initiatives aligned with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • AI Technology and Architecture Development: Establish and guide the AI technology and architectural vision for Seismic, ensuring alignment with our business strategies and product roadmaps.
  • AI Use Case Development: Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to create AI and ML applications, evaluating trade-offs to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Integration: Oversee the integration of AI capabilities across the Seismic platform, encompassing data foundations, conversational intelligence, video analysis, and content management systems.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide robust technical leadership to data science and engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning while staying updated on the latest AI and ML trends.
  • Product Innovation: Work with product managers, engineers, and designers to identify opportunities for AI-driven enhancements and contribute to the AI product roadmap.
  • Performance Optimization: Define and analyze key metrics to evaluate the success of AI initiatives, ensuring the delivery of high-performance, scalable, and reliable solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 15+ years in data science and AI, with a proven history of developing AI software products and leading technical initiatives.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong background in AI and ML model development, with hands-on experience in Python or similar languages for data analytics and machine learning.
  • SaaS Knowledge: Extensive experience in SaaS application development and cloud technologies, with familiarity in cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Product Development: Proven ability to collaborate with product management and design teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication abilities, capable of inspiring teams to reach their full potential.
  • Strategic Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic approach to decision-making.
  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fast-paced Environment: Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, preferably within a SaaS or technology-focused organization.
