We are seeking a highly skilled Network Performance and Capacity Analyst to join our team at ProViso Staffing. As a key member of our Technology Solutions group, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing network performance and capacity, identifying potential issues, and developing recommendations for improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Perform performance and capacity planning, monitoring, analysis, and recommendation for the existing network and its elements.
- Support complex application performance-related incidents and contribute to high-priority enterprise incidents.
- Work with Network and Client Architects to stay on top of network plans and projects, and plan and assist in preparing the network for new projects.
- Monitor network capacity issues proactively, report, and remedy them before a real incident.
- Provide consulting on testing new technology from a capacity standpoint, and come up with KPIs, thresholds, and procedures for monitoring, alerting, and reporting.
- Analyze packet traces for understanding application flows, derive issues related to network capacity, and come up with recommendations for optimal use of the network.
- Maintain detailed growth models on an ongoing basis for each Line of Business, and use this detailed model to actively plan for network WAN and LAN upgrades.
- Custom creation and ongoing discussion and delivery of client reporting as well as internal reporting necessary for Engineering and planning purposes.
- Help maintain the data mining process and report customization as needed.
