Job Title: Network Analyst-Troubleshooting

BeachHead Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Network Analyst-Troubleshooting to join our team. As a key member of our network team, you will be responsible for monitoring network performance and capacity, analyzing data to ensure optimal network utilization, and recommending changes to improve network efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform performance and capacity planning, monitoring, analysis, recommendation, and tracking/reporting for the existing network and its elements.
  2. Support complex application performance-related incidents and contribute to high-priority enterprise incidents.
  3. Work with network and client architects to stay on top of network plans and projects with a 3-5 year view, plan, and assist in preparing the network for new projects.
  4. Monitor network capacity issues proactively, reporting and remedying them before a real incident.
  5. Provide consulting on testing new technology from a capacity standpoint and come up with KPIs, thresholds, and procedures for monitoring, alerting, and reporting.
  6. Analyze packet traces for understanding application flows and derive issues related to network capacity to come up with recommendations for optimal use of the network.
  7. Maintain detailed growth models on an ongoing basis for each Line of Business based upon assimilated knowledge around current and upcoming projects.
  8. Custom creation and ongoing discussion and delivery of client reporting as well as internal reporting necessary for Engineering and planning purposes.
  9. Help maintain the data mining process and report customization as needed.
  10. Develop new and improved processes around Capacity for existing and new technologies as introduced from time to time.
  11. Keep strict control over Circuit utilization trends as well as QoS class of service utilization trends over a period of time.
Requirements:
  1. 5 years of experience in Network Support.
  2. 5 years of experience in LAN/WAN.
  3. 5 years of strong understanding of Network firewalls and firewall rules.
  4. 5 years of experience in troubleshooting/maintenance of Network devices such as CISCO switches and routers.
  5. 5 years of working knowledge of Wireshark.
  6. CCNP - Cisco Certified Network Professional.

  1. Strong Leadership skills.
  2. Previous banking experience.
