Senior Technology Analyst

Axelon Services Corporation is seeking a skilled Technology Analyst for a contract opportunity.
This position operates on a Hybrid Schedule.
Reliable internet access, a computer, and an Android or iPhone are necessary for remote connectivity to client systems during remote work.
Attendance in the office is required three days a week, contingent on team needs.Note: Video or face-to-face interviews are mandatory prior to any offers.
The selected candidate will serve as an Onboarding Analyst within the Global Functions Technology team, focusing on model onboarding, data analysis, and production support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Onboard models onto the forecasting platform by implementing model specifications (econometric & IRR models) utilizing various scripting methods.
- Ensure timely delivery of model outputs that meet stakeholder expectations.
- Analyze actuals and forecasts for Balance Sheet and P&L, identify discrepancies, and implement solutions.
- Address stakeholder inquiries regarding forecast results and reports.
- Collaborate with Finance and Statistical Modelling teams to gather business requirements.
- Develop insightful analytical views on the platform to assist Finance and Risk in making informed decisions.
- Contribute to the creation of effective processes and governance.
- Engage in both the implementation of new forecasting processes and the execution of existing ones, while working with business and technology partners to identify enhancements and new functionalities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Assess risks in business decisions, prioritizing the firm's reputation and safeguarding its clients and assets by ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience as a Technology Analyst.
- 6+ years in the Software Development Life Cycle.
- 5+ years of experience in requirements gathering and specifications.
- 5+ years of proficiency in Python, SQL, and MS Excel.
- 3+ years of experience in the financial sector.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to provide detailed status updates to stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of fundamental Balance Sheet and P&L concepts.
- Knowledge of econometric modeling techniques.
- Experience with large data sets.
- Preferred familiarity with key Interest Rate Risk metrics (IRE, EVS).
Education:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. An MBA (Finance) or a Master's in Finance is preferred.
