About the Role:
Lifemark Health Group is seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our provincial mental health services team. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule. You will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Social Workers, and Occupational Therapists, to provide exceptional mental health services.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate client needs.
2. Provide consultation and support to interdisciplinary team members.
3. Deliver psychological treatment tailored to individual client requirements.
4. Offer clinical oversight and supervision to other healthcare professionals.
5. Develop and lead group therapy sessions and psychoeducation workshops.
6. Contribute to research initiatives and outcome evaluation projects at both provincial and national levels.

Clientele:
The psychologist will work with adults referred by various funding sources, addressing conditions that impact psychological well-being, including:
- Acute and chronic pain
- Head injuries
- Traumatic experiences

Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Psychology
- Current registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia (Adult: Clinical, Rehabilitation, and/or Neuropsychology)
- Maintenance of individual professional liability/malpractice insurance is required.

Preferred Experience:
- Clinical practice experience with a focus on health and rehabilitation
- Familiarity with interdisciplinary team dynamics
- Experience with third-party payers (e.g., Workers Compensation, Disability Insurers)
- Practical training in evidence-based treatment modalities (CBT, ACT, DBT, etc.)
- Experience in psychological assessment with a focus on treatment planning.

Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Efficient and responsive in clinical documentation
- Understanding of funding system expectations for client-centered treatment
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and adaptability
- Leadership skills for effective caseload management
- Experience with telehealth and virtual care methods is an asset.
