Medical Imaging Opportunity

Humber River Health is seeking a skilled Registered Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic Medical Imaging team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a range of ultrasound duties, including abdomen, obstetrics and gynecology, small parts, vascular Doppler, musculoskeletal, and breast imaging.
  • Prepare and assess patients for ultrasound exams, confirming exam validity based on provided history.
  • Complete exam processes by reviewing images, completing sonographer impression sheets, confirming documentation, and presenting to radiologists for reporting via PACS.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) or in the process of obtaining registration.
  • Personal Liability Insurance (PLI) coverage.
  • Accredited college diploma preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with all aspects of ultrasound, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong documentation skills and excellent knowledge of anatomy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
