Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at TalentSphere Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct ultrasound examinations using various modalities and techniques to produce high-quality images
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient-centered care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technologies, techniques, and best practices to maintain expertise and provide high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a recognized Ultrasound program
  • Current membership with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) in good standing
  • Current registration with Sonography Canada and insurance coverage
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound setting
  • Proficiency in the production and assessment of diagnostic ultrasound images
  • Strong understanding of vascular anatomy, cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to ultrasound imaging
  • Significant experience in abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, neuro, and interventional ultrasound procedures
  • Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills capable of working independently and as a part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to demonstrate compassion and professionalism in order to provide quality patient-centered care
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Willingness to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire
