Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Ollie Transport Inc. as a key member of our logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Execution: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Customer Service: Provide professional and courteous service to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods, ensuring they are properly secured and protected during transport.
  • Operate and Drive Trucks: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency roadside situations, performing repairs and maintenance as needed.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).
  • Experience: Previous experience as a truck driver, preferably in a similar role.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Work Environment

This is an on-the-road job, requiring the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
