Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and reviewing investment documentation, coordinating and overseeing investment accounting and operating activities, and preparing financial statements and related notes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analysis and review of investment documentation to ensure accurate accounting of investments and investment-related activities
  • Coordinate and oversee the investment accounting, operating and investor capital activities prepared and performed by the fund administrators
  • Analysis and review of monthly and quarterly financial statements and investor reporting
  • Preparation of complete annual financial statements and related notes
  • Analysis and review of management and performance fees
  • Coordination of the external annual audit
  • Analysis and review of monthly accounting close processes
  • Coordination of tax returns and sales tax returns with external tax advisors
  • Develop and participate in the documentation, implementation, and maintenance of adequate and effective internal controls and procedures

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or Accounting
  • CPA designation required
  • 5 years of experience in private market fund and direct investments accounting and financial reporting
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Team player
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Bilingualism required (fluency in French and English)
