Automation Testing Engineer

Job Title: Automation Testing Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Testing Engineer to join our team. As an Automation Testing Engineer, you will play a key role in implementing Annual Enrollment 2025 client validations on next-generation healthcare platforms through manual and automated testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, document, and maintain automated test assets
- Adhere to software engineering best practices and standards
- Help drive toward Continuous Integration and Continuous Improvement
- Understand and apply Test Driven Design (TDD) concepts to test and debug automated solutions and custom tools
- Support Functional Testing of Health & Welfare administration platform
- Understand test requirements and design to build effective test scripts for the given product
- Attend Requirement & design walkthrough calls with BAs/Developers
- Execute test cases as part of functional and regression testing
- Participate in the requirement review meetings and design and develop concise and clear automation validation scripts based on analysis of complex business requirements
- Maintain the client level validation and support project team with implementing annual enrollment automated validations development adopting industry standard methodologies and tools
- Perform manual validation and triage issues on new benefits platform
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science
- Must have 6-9 years of automation experience
- Must have ability to create and modify complex SQL queries
- Must have ability to write and debug code in Java/Spring
- Must have experience with API automation – Rest Assured, Postman
- Must be familiar with Behavior Driven Development (BDD)/Cucumber
- A strong analytical mind set. Ability to cut through vast detail and get to the critical points that makes a difference to the business
- Ability to work independently and deliver solid results consistently
- Good communication skills
