The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Web & E-commerce to join our Digital Marketing & E-commerce team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive website and e-commerce strategy that aligns with our long-term business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a website and e-commerce strategy that drives business growth and improves customer engagement
  • Lead a cross-functional team of Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, Developers, Content Editors, and SEO Leads to deliver high-quality digital products
  • Ensure website design is visually appealing, intuitive, and supports users in the dreaming and researching phases of the customer journey
  • Drive e-commerce improvements across booking, my account to increase lead capture, conversion rate, and Average Order Value (AOV)
  • Develop and maintain an Agile team culture with a focus on building a collaborative, transparent environment
  • Build a performance-based, data-driven culture to drive A/B testing and effective web measurement

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in business administration, design, information technology, or related field
  • 8+ years of customer-focused website management experience across both content and e-commerce
  • Prior experience leading a team covering UX/UI Design, Development, Content, and SEO
  • Demonstrated ability to build great digital products that educate, inspire, and convert
  • Proven track record of driving improved business results by identifying, prioritizing, and acting on opportunities
  • Ability to create good cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum as it relates to modern web development
  • Strong analytical skills, able to draw insights and recommendations from data (Google Analytics, Looker, Heap)
