Parts Person - Part Time
Location: Cochrane, AB
Southland Transportation is seeking a skilled Parts Person to support our team in Cochrane. The successful candidate will be responsible for ordering parts, receiving and entering inventory, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ordering parts as requested by mechanics
- Receiving and entering parts into the computer system
- Entering DVCRs into the computer
- Completing all necessary paperwork
- Conducting monthly inventory management and cycle counts
- Ensuring adherence to company standards and processes
- Working with shop management to maintain schedule compliance and priorities
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Computer skills
- Class 2 driver's license (asset)
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Excellent organizational skills
This is a part-time position, working Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
