Job Title: Administrative Officer - Policy and Procedure Coordinator

Travel Inn is seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team. As an Administrative Officer, you will be responsible for implementing new administrative procedures, delegating work to office support staff, and establishing work priorities and ensuring procedures are followed and deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement new administrative procedures and ensure their effective implementation
  • Delegate work to office support staff and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate and up-to-date records
  • Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Resolve conflict situations and provide guidance and support to staff as needed
  • Oversee payroll administration and ensure accurate and timely payment of staff
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
