What is the opportunity?

The Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled Branch Technology Specialist to join their team in Winnipeg.

The Branch Technology Specialist will work closely with the branch management team and advisor teams to provide technical support and expertise. This includes troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, installing and replacing hardware and software, and coordinating training and support for new applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and maintenance for branch hardware and software
  • Manage system access requests and ensure compliance with security protocols
  • Support branch users with VPN, Citrix, and BYOD mobility
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, escalating as necessary
  • Coordinate technology initiatives, including training and hardware refresh
  • Liaise with back office teams to resolve application and technical issues
  • Provide project leads with feedback on technical issues and data integrity
  • Communicate proactively with branch staff to assess and support their technical needs
