Position Overview

As a Cashier at Run'n On Empty, you will play a crucial role in managing customer transactions and ensuring a smooth checkout experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle monetary transactions, including cash, checks, and credit/debit card payments.
  • Accurately calculate total payments for goods or services.
  • Receive payments and issue receipts for purchases.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of payments received against total sales.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
  • Welcome and assist customers with their inquiries.
  • Manage foreign currency exchanges as needed.
  • Monitor store entrances and exits, ensuring proof of payment is provided when necessary.
  • Verify customer age for the sale of restricted items such as lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco.
