Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, receive payment for goods or services, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Stock Shelves and Maintain Store Appearance: Restock shelves, clean the counter area, and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of retail experience.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Familiarity with electronic cash registers, Interac machines, and price scanners.
  • Security and Safety: Ability to work in a secure and safe environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and handling heavy loads.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
