Production Machine Specialist

Position Overview:

Multimatic Inc. is seeking a Production Operator to join our dynamic team. This role involves the operation of machinery, tools, and equipment essential for assembling products that meet our clients' specifications. The selected candidate will be required to work the afternoon shift.

Location: Multimatic Inc. facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate various assembly machines, including riveting and staking equipment, either automatically or manually, as designated.
  • Utilize measuring tools and fixtures to verify product compliance with customer specifications.
  • Accurately count, label, and document finished products and maintain all necessary production records.
  • Input precise data into the inventory management system using barcoding and computer technology.
  • Monitor production trends and complete required documentation (e.g., production reports, control forms).
  • Conduct inspections of assemblies using gauges, tools, and visual aids as per established procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to cleanliness protocols and wearing appropriate safety gear.
  • Follow safety regulations and work in a manner that promotes a safe workplace.
  • Identify and report any issues related to quality, productivity, or safety.
  • Collaborate as a team member to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including tool changes and equipment setup.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations and responsibilities as outlined in company policies.
  • Conduct inspections of finished goods according to control plans and operational guidelines.
  • In case of nonconformance, stop operations and notify the supervisor.
  • Ensure non-compliant materials are properly tagged or disposed of.
  • Keep the work area and machinery in a clean and safe condition at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Meet or exceed company performance standards after gaining experience.
  • Capability to operate all necessary equipment as required.
