About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machining Centre Operator to join our team at Z.R. Tool Inc. as a key member of our manufacturing department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Set Up Machines: Safely operate and set up CNC machining centre equipment to perform repetitive machining operations, ensuring high precision and quality.
  • Verify Dimensions: Verify the dimensions of machined parts using precise measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers, to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
  • Programming and Coding: Enter codes specifying speed, feed, and cut of the toolpath for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools, ensuring efficient and accurate machining operations.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Custom machine shop.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Milling machines and computer numerical control (CNC) machines.
  • Repetitive Machining Operation Experience: Turning and milling.
  • Physical Capabilities: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Reliability.
