About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team at GP Custom Metals Inc. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of metal fabrication and welding services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution
    • Interpret welding process specifications and execute them accurately
    • Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Quality Control
    • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
  • Material Handling
    • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move materials and products
