POSITION OVERVIEW
The Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) will spearhead the advancement initiatives at Perimeter Institute, focusing on the strategic formulation and execution of an ambitious advancement agenda. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, the CAO will be tasked with crafting, leading, and implementing tailored, sustainable, and long-term funding strategies aimed at diversifying the donor base and fostering ongoing engagement and commitment from supporters of the Institute.
In addition to engaging with external stakeholders, the CAO will serve as a trusted advisor and collaborator to the Board, the Director, and the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, enhancing internal coordination and capacity to achieve excellence.
This role will significantly influence Perimeter Institute's mission and contribute to advancing diversity in the sciences, uniting the world's brightest minds to achieve transformative scientific breakthroughs.
