About Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)
As part of the North Shore Pathology Group, this role is based at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver. The group is responsible for delivering anatomical pathology services, overseeing laboratory operations, and providing diagnostic hematopathology for various regional healthcare facilities. The workload encompasses approximately 32,000 surgical pathology and non-gynecologic cytology specimens annually.
Candidates with post-residency subspecialty training in dermatopathology and breast pathology will be prioritized based on current trends in patient demographics and case requirements. Remuneration is aligned with the MOH master agreement established with the Doctors of BC.

Qualifications RequiredEducation, Licensing, & Experience:
- Current registration with the College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) - Full/Provisional
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Required
- Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) – Eligible
