About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Baptist Housing in Victoria. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care to residents, including assessments, medication administration, and implementing wellness programs
  • Collaborate with RNs for complex cases and consultations, adhering to the highest standards of practice and ethics
  • Maintain accurate resident charting and information using advanced systems like Point-Click Care and EMAR
  • Model our ministry values and demonstrate servant leadership by prioritizing the needs of others and maintaining positive relationships with residents, team members, families, and partners
Requirements
  • Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma from a recognized, post-secondary institution
  • Member in good standing or eligible for membership with British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Food Safe Certificate
