About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Edo Japan Ft. Richmond. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food and service meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and manage work schedules to meet the needs of our customers and the restaurant.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by monitoring and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and fairly.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, customer feedback, and other key performance indicators to inform business decisions.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or related role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 32 hours per week in a fast-paced food service environment. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a dynamic and customer-focused environment.
