We are seeking a skilled Licensed Mechanic to join our team at First Student. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of school buses.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues, including brakes, engines, and transmissions.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure all vehicles meet regulatory standards.
- Lead preventative maintenance programs and ensure all vehicles are properly maintained.
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex technical issues.
- Valid 310T License Mechanic certification.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
