Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician/Gas Fitter to join our team at Superior Propane Careers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and servicing propane vaporizers for FRAC heating systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of our systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Service: Install and service propane vaporizers for FRAC heating systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot issues with propane vaporizers and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure system efficiency.
  • Leak Testing: Conduct regular leak testing to ensure the integrity of our systems and prevent potential hazards.
  • Physical Demands: Physically capable of lifting heavy objects on a regular basis, working in various weather conditions, and standing for extended periods.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction and build strong relationships.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using computers, specifically on-board truck computers, and have a strong understanding of B149 code.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Hold a class gas technician license and have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the propane industry.
  • Experience: Propane industry experience is a strong asset, and a valid driver's license with an incident-free driver's abstract is required.
  • Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of B149 code and a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
