Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd is a leading provider of electrical and instrumentation services in Western Canada, seeking a skilled Gasfitter Specialist to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial oil and gas maintenance, with experience working on full-time, long-term construction projects. As a Gasfitter Specialist, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, threading, and assembling pipe using various tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and assemble pipe using pipe cutters, threading machines, and pipe vices
- Test and replace defective equipment or components
- Start up and adjust new or repaired equipment
- Prepare reports and documentation
Requirements:
- Hold a Journeyman Gasfitter (Class A) certificate
- Experience working with Burner Management Systems
- Industrial/Oil & Gas facilities experience
- Valid Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive and Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C – with CPR/AED) and CSTS 2020 Fundamentals certificates
- Able to troubleshoot burners and diagnose problems
- Experience with B-149.1 & B-149.3 Gas Code
- Flexible work schedule, including shift work, overtime, and weekends
- Ability to travel and work with minimal supervision
