Job Summary

Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd is seeking a skilled Gasfitter Specialist to join our team in the Grande Prairie area.

We are a leading provider of electrical and instrumentation services to the Oil & Gas industry in Western Canada. As a Gasfitter Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on full-time, long-term construction projects with reputable clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipe using specialized tools and equipment.
  • Test and replace defective equipment or components to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Start up and adjust new or repaired equipment to meet industry standards.
  • Prepare detailed reports to document work completed and any issues encountered.

Requirements

  • Hold a Journeyman Gasfitter (Class A) certificate and have relevant industry experience.
  • Have Burner Management Systems experience and knowledge of B-149.1 & B-149.3 Gas Code.
  • Be able to troubleshoot burners and diagnose problems efficiently.
  • Have a flexible work schedule, including shift work, overtime, and weekends, and be willing to travel as required.
  • Be able to work with minimal supervision and have strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic aptitude.
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a valid class 5 driver's license.
