Grande Prairie, Canada Techmation Electric & Controls Full time

Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd is a leading provider of electrical and instrumentation services in Western Canada, seeking a skilled Gasfitter Specialist to join their team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on full-time, long-term construction projects with reputable clients in the Grande Prairie area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipe using specialized tools
  • Test and replace defective equipment or components
  • Start up and adjust new or repaired equipment
  • Prepare detailed reports

Requirements:

  • Hold a Journeyman Gasfitter (Class A) certificate
  • Experience with Burner Management Systems
  • Industrial/Oil & Gas facility experience
  • Valid Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive and Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C – with CPR/AED) and CSTS 2020 Fundamentals certificates
  • Able to troubleshoot burners
  • Experience/familiarity with B-149.1 & B-149.3 Gas Code
  • Flexible work schedule, including shift work, overtime, and weekends
  • Ability to travel
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills
