Position Overview
The role involves the design and delivery of educational programs in the field of Medical Laboratory Technology.

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop, enhance, and maintain educational courses and laboratory materials.

2. Conduct lectures, assignments, and practical demonstrations to facilitate learning.

3. Teach Clinical Chemistry and various other subjects within Medical Laboratory Science.

4. Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, and direct observations, while maintaining accurate records of progress.

5. Provide guidance to students regarding program details and career opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:
  • A degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field, or a diploma with advanced certification.
  • Current registration with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (C.S.M.L.S.) and successful completion of the General Laboratory Technology certification exam.
  • Licensure with the Saskatchewan Society of Medical Laboratory Technologists (SSMLT) as a Medical Laboratory Technologist – General.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Up-to-date clinical practice experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven instructional capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic team environment.
  • Competence in utilizing technology, including internet resources, email, and MS Office Suite.
