Position Overview
The role involves developing and delivering educational programs in the field of Medical Laboratory Technology.

Key Responsibilities
1. Design, update, and create educational courses and laboratory materials.

2. Prepare and present lectures, assignments, and demonstrations for student learning.

3. Conduct Clinical Chemistry courses alongside other Medical Laboratory Science disciplines.

4. Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, and direct observations, maintaining accurate records of progress.

5. Provide guidance to students regarding program details and career opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
  • A degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field, or a diploma with advanced certification.
  • Current registration with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (C.S.M.L.S.) and completion of the General Laboratory Technology certification exam.
  • Licensure with the Saskatchewan Society of Medical Laboratory Technologists (SSMLT) as a Medical Laboratory Technologist – General.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Up-to-date clinical experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effective instructional capabilities.
  • The ability to collaborate within a dynamic team environment.
  • Proficiency in using technology, including internet resources, email, and MS Office Suite.
  • A commitment to valuing diversity in the workplace.
