Job Summary
Saskatchewan Polytechnic is seeking a skilled Laboratory Instructor to join our team. As a Laboratory Instructor, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students in a simulated laboratory setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students in a laboratory setting
- Prepare and maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment
- Teach and demonstrate laboratory skills and procedures to students
- Assess student performance and provide feedback
- Collaborate with other instructors to ensure a cohesive learning experience
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a post-secondary nursing degree
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- A minimum of 3 years recent and relevant nursing experience
- Experience teaching adults
- The ability to effectively engage students in a simulated learning environment
- Recent experience teaching the online theory for any/all of the courses listed above
