About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Leader to join our team as a Director of Commercial Markets. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our Senior Commercial Markets client segment within Commercial Financial Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to acquire and grow Senior Commercial Markets client relationships.
  • Manage a portfolio of large commercial clients, taking responsibility for the overall relationship strategy within the client's RBC relationship team.
  • Collaborate with the client relationship team to ensure clients are enabled to leverage digital solutions for themselves and their business.
  • Provide timely and relevant financial advice to large commercial businesses within your industry of focus, aligning sales, products, risk policy and market strategies to deliver customized solutions specific for your clients' needs.
Requirements
  • University degree, ideally in Commerce or Business Administration, with strong financial analysis skills.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' commercial banking experience.
  • Experience and comfort with emerging technology (e.g. video conferencing, social media, digital banking and mobile applications).
  • MBA and/or CFA considered an asset.
