Job Title: Patient Working Group Coordinator

The Terry Fox Research Institute (TFRI) is seeking a highly motivated and organized Patient Working Group Coordinator to join the Marathon of Hope Cancer Centres Network (MOHCCN). As a key member of the MOHCCN team, you will play a vital role in coordinating the activities of the Patient Working Group, ensuring the smooth operation of the group's activities and facilitating the advancement of precision cancer care in Canada.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate meetings, manage communications, and maintain accurate records of meetings, decisions, and action items.
  • Assist in the facilitation of outreach programs and other activities driven by the program's overall strategy.
  • Prepare reports and summaries as needed for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate events, workshops, and other activities related to the working group.
  • Ensure the working group has the necessary resources by developing materials and guidelines to carry out its activities effectively.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative or coordination role within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with patient groups or in a patient advocacy role.
What We Offer:
  • Part-time position (18h45/week) with a possibility for extension.
  • Competitive salary range: $23,500-28,500.
