Position Summary
The Assistant Director plays a vital role within Lac La Ronge Indian Child & Family Services Agency, reporting directly to the Agency Director. This position is responsible for overseeing program operations, implementing special projects, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the agency in the absence of the Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Development and Management: Coordinate and monitor the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs, services, and special projects to meet the needs of our community.
- Leadership and Oversight: In the absence of the Director, assume full responsibility for the agency, ensuring effective decision-making and operational continuity.
- Quality Assurance: Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives across all aspects of agency operations and program services to maintain high standards of care.
- Project Management: Oversee all aspects of special project agreements, ensuring successful execution and adherence to contractual obligations.
- Community Engagement: Serve as a liaison with community leaders, stakeholders, and client families, fostering strong relationships and collaborative partnerships.
- Team Leadership: Provide direct supervision and guidance to Program Managers, cultivating a supportive and high-performing team environment.
- Conflict Resolution: Effectively address and resolve conflicts related to employee and client matters, promoting a harmonious and respectful workplace.
- Accreditation Compliance: Ensure adherence to CARF International accreditation standards, maintaining our agency's commitment to excellence.
- Innovation and Best Practices: Research and implement best practices and current trends in the field of child welfare services to enhance program effectiveness.
