Job Summary:
The Lac La Ronge Indian Child & Family Services Agency seeks a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director to lead our Program Operations and Special Projects. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the development and implementation of programs, services, and special projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor the development and implementation of programs, services, and special projects.
- Assume direct responsibility of the Agency in the absence of the Director.
- Quality improvement with respect to Agency Operations and Program Services.
- Responsible for all aspects of special project agreements.
- Liaison with community leadership, stakeholders, and client families.
- Direct supervision of the Program Managers.
- Conflict resolution related to employee and client matters.
- Maintain compliance with standards for accreditation with CARF International.
- Research and implement best practices and current trends.
Requirements:
- Recognized university degree in Social Work with five years of supervision experience in Child Welfare Services.
- Sound knowledge of Provincial Legislation and Child Welfare policies.
- Knowledge and understanding of counselling theory and human behavior.
- Proven administrative, supervisory, and counselling ability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills.
- Extensive experience in organizational and financial management, program planning, staff development, and community/governmental relations.
- Criminal Record, Child Abuse, and Driver's Abstract Clearance.
