About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at Blends & Bites Inc. as a key member of our food service team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
    • Portion and wrap foods for take-out and counter service.
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas.
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
    • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh ingredients.
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders and provide excellent customer service.
    • Handle customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
    • Communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues and customers.
    Work Environment

As a Food Service Attendant at Blends & Bites Inc., you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service. You will be required to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work under pressure.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in the food service industry is an asset.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
