About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W Restaurants. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting our high standards.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that we have adequate coverage during peak periods.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to work in a standing position for extended periods. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including dental and health care plans, as well as a permanent position with A&W Restaurants.
