About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Big Apple Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide comprehensive training to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure that food and service meet the highest quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Record Keeping and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires a high level of physical activity, with regular standing, walking, and lifting of up to 25 pounds. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
