Team Member Experience Coordinator/ HR Coordinator

Are you passionate about leading a team that is committed to delivering exceptional resident experiences? Do you have a knack for innovation and growth? We're seeking a skilled Team Member Experience Coordinator/ HR Coordinator to join our team at Sienna Senior Living.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with nursing and programs department leaders to track and monitor educational activities, ensuring a high-quality resident care delivery.
  2. Support managers in retention efforts to drive employee engagement and satisfaction.
  3. Assist in recruitment and selection processes, reference checks, and orientation for newly hired team members.
  4. Coordinate WSIB/WSBC Claims management and Early & Safe Return to Work Programs, ensuring seamless employee support.
  5. Maintain regular contact and meetings with team members on modified work, documenting results in the Claims Management Communication Log.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our team.
Requirements:
  1. A minimum of 1-2 years of human resources experience, preferably in a unionized environment.
  2. Experience with computerized payroll and software.
  3. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  4. Ability to work in detail and think strategically.
  5. All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check (Ontario) or Criminal Records Check (British Columbia).
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Prior experience working in long-term care settings.
  2. A post-secondary education in Human Resources, CHRP designation an asset.
