The EDI Compliance and Monitoring Analyst will oversee the daily monitoring, adherence, and management of EDI data transmissions across more than 20 applications within TJX Canada's third-party systems. This role is crucial for ensuring operational efficiency, trade compliance, and the integrity of financial systems and payment processing.
Key tasks include:
- Conducting daily audits to verify the completeness of data transmissions related to operational applications, facilitating the automated exchange of essential business documents such as invoices, purchase orders, and shipping forms.
- Collaborating with carriers, third-party logistics (3PL), and corporate IT to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within established service level agreements (SLAs), minimizing disruptions to business operations.
- Tracking and reporting on EDI data compliance, ensuring alignment with agreed standards for efficient and secure data exchange.
- Identifying and researching opportunities to enhance process efficiencies, maximizing TJX Canada's investment in EDI technology and its network of carriers and 3PL partners.
- Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for data transmissions and validations, providing insights that support the proactive management of merchandise flow and operational costs.
Candidates should possess:
- A post-secondary education in Information Systems, Software, Business, or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Merchandise Planning.
- Experience with EDI and data transmissions, including a foundational understanding of EDI protocols and compliance standards.
- Technical proficiency in data formats such as XML (Extensible Markup Language) and JSON (JavaScript Object Notation).
- Experience with SQL Server, including the ability to query databases to track transactions using tools like Power BI and Access.
- Familiarity with EDI standards such as AS2 (Applicability Statement 2) and Value-Added Networks (VAN).
- Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize large volumes of data into actionable insights.
