Position: Assistant Store Manager Development Program

Importance of this Role:
Reporting to the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager in Training will exemplify outstanding customer service and demonstrate leadership by managing team members and effectively planning operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a role model by delivering efficient and courteous customer service.
  • Effectively resolve and manage customer complaints in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Exhibit leadership by providing positive and effective resolutions to concerns raised by customers and team members.
  • Encourage store employees to take ownership of their performance and career development; conduct regular follow-ups.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with internal colleagues from various departments to enhance overall business outcomes.
  • Coordinate with company buyers regarding inventory purchases and oversee merchandising activities.
  • Promote sales of equipment and services through personalized and professional advice to individuals, groups, and institutions.
  • Manage and maintain inventory levels of materials and stocked products.
  • Successfully plan and implement store events.
  • Achieve staffing goals by recruiting and evaluating potential candidates.
  • Efficiently schedule employees to enhance productivity, profitability, and margins.
  • Continuously train staff to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Safeguard company assets and enhance profitability by developing and implementing security and safety programs.
  • Pursue succession planning to ensure continuous employee development for essential roles.
  • Ensure employee awareness of safety and emergency protocols.
  • Understand and support store operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Commit to fostering a workplace that values inclusiveness and belonging.
