The Assistant Store Manager is a key member of the store team, responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the overall operation of the store. This includes developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage, and ensuring maximum sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and revenue growth
- Manage and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service
- Control expenses and shrinkage through effective inventory management and loss prevention techniques
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including those related to merchandising, inventory control, and customer service
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives and goals
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
- Physical demands: in excess of 8 hours of standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Prior retail and management experience required
